Nature, conviviality and love for cooking and good wine. These are the elements that characterize Cantina Lemine. Established in 2004, the location is part of a villa located on a small hill in the middle of a wood with a prevalence of oak and chestnut trees. The structure combines elements of design and rural tradition, with a nod to Zen-inspired factors.

The large windows allow the surrounding garden to constitute a furnishing element for the interior, all the accessories are in wood and iron: your reception will be characterized by nature with its diversity and its harmony. The restaurant is also home to the permanent exhibition of various works of art resulting from the pictorial creativity of the chef and patron.

Spaces and capacity

The main spaces of Cantina Lemine are: the garden, the main room, the relaxation room and the cellar.

The main room is enclosed by large windows which make the room a veranda in the summer and a particularly suggestive location with snow in the winter. Perhaps the most intriguing seasons to fully enjoy the surrounding atmosphere are spring, when you can enjoy the first flowers on the trees, and autumn, when the forest lights up with colour.

Adjacent to the room there is a real relaxation area. In fact, there is a small sitting room divided from the rest of the room by a double-sided fireplace which is lit during the cold period.

Downstairs there is a splendid cellar that can be visited, which serves not only as storage – the result of journeys undertaken to discover small production companies – but also as a place for the welcome buffet. In fact, it is here that you can enjoy a glass of wine accompanied by a rich appetizer platter.

Particularly suitable for receptions with a few close friends, the restaurant has a capacity of around 90 guests.

Services offered

The patron says: “we do one thing at a time. Only one event per day. The whole location is made available for as long as they wish”. This is the philosophy of the services offered that has always characterized this small and well-kept restaurant. In full compliance with the Covid-19 directives, the menus and the type of reception offered vary according to the type of reception desired. A chic buffet, a gala dinner, or an informal wedding can form the basis for developing a menu that reflects the philosophy of marriage. Based on an interview carried out with the bride and groom, the chef will elaborate proposals that reflect the needs expressed and will propose ad hoc dishes.

The same concept also extends to the floral arrangement, the arrangement of the tables and all the ancillary services. Finally, the place lends itself perfectly to musical entertainment ranging from jazz to soul and pop and has a small play area for children.

Restaurant

The main ingredient is love, from which a light and tasty cuisine is born that follows the seasonality and the personality of the spouses. Aromatic herbs, ingredients purchased from small local producers, fruits from their own orchard and the pursuit of excellence in the raw material.

The dishes are designed and proposed starting from the spouses, first of all understanding the personality and expectations of the celebrated. All courses are prepared by the chef and his staff, from appetizers to wedding cakes, including bread and fresh or stuffed pasta. The chosen gastronomic path is therefore tested until the optimal one is reached

Says the chef: “this is how I paint the way I cook. There is a first phase of study, visional, emotional, which starts from a sensation, an experience, a memory. Then there is the empirical, realization phase: it is completely instinctive and here I let my hand flow, both in the art and in the kitchen, dialoguing with the dish I am creating, with the work that is taking shape”. The kitchen, therefore, at Cantina Lemine, is a central moment of taste and emotion.
