Casa Giulia Country House — Wedding Destination in Umbria

Location & Overview

  • Dove: Località Corciano 1, Bovara, Trevi (Perugia), Umbria — situated on the slopes of Monte Serano. The manor is roughly positioned between Perugia and Spoleto.

  • Patrimonio: Originally a 17th-century manor house (“villa padronale”), with part of its structure dating back, gardens, olive trees and historic frescoes and period furniture in several rooms. Owned by the Alessandrini Petrucci family.

  • Capacità: Can accommodate weddings / events up to approximately 230 guests in reception spaces; overnight stays for up to 20 guests across 6-7 rooms (plus dependance / apartments) in more intimate lodging.

Wedding & Event Spaces & Hospitality

  • Event spaces:
    • Limonaia with vaulted ceiling (indoor, romantic elegance)
    • Restored barn & tack room across from the main villa
    • Extensive gardens, tall trees, terraces and pool areas for outdoor ceremonies, cocktails, dinners.

  • Accommodation & Services:
    • Six spacious rooms in the main XVII-century manor, furnished with antiques and period paintings.
    • Additional small apartments / dependance (e.g. a bilocale with fireplace and private garden) for increased privacy and flexibility.
    • Pool, oleander gardens, panoramic views over Umbrian valleys.
    • Full or partial event planning support: flowers, photographer, DJ, makeup & hair stylist, decorative setups — “staff can take care of all the details” to make the event memorable.

Experience & Territory Valorisation

  • Immersive Umbrian experience:
    • The proximity to historic Umbrian towns: Trevi, Spoleto, Montefalco, Assisi, Perugia; easy for guests to plan cultural day-excursions or photo trips.
    • Near Fonti e Tempietto del Clitunno (UNESCO site), offering scenic heritage sites.
    • Enogastronomy: local olive oil, wine, traditional Umbrian cuisine; possibility for on-site or chef-arranged menus reflecting local produce and tradition.

  • Experiential options for guests:
    • Cultural tours: guided visits to frescoed churches, Renaissance and medieval sites, local artisans, markets.
    • Outdoor activities: walking / trekking along olive groves, cycling, exploring countryside, relaxing by pool.

Appello internazionale per i matrimoni

  • Intimacy + Grandeur: While the lodging capacity is modest (∼20 guests), event/reception capacity is large (up to ~230), so ideal for weddings where many guests come just for the event but stay off-site or in partner hotels. This dual capacity appeals to international couples.

  • Accessibilità: Umbria is centrally located in Italy; for non-Italian guests flying in via major airports (Rome, Florence), transfer by road is possible. The villa’s position between well-known Umbrian towns enhances its appeal.

  • Authentic atmosphere: Historic architecture, period interiors, intact frescoes, villa gardens, views — all contribute to a romantic, authentic “Italian countryside villa” feeling. Great for photo shoots and wedding videos.

Suggested ESG / Boutique Elements & Luxury Services

  • Wedding packages could include: symbolic or civil ceremonies, full décor design, floral installation, photography & video, music & DJ, catering with Umbrian menu, guest welcome gifts featuring local products.

  • Optional bespoke add-ons: guided wine / olive oil tastings; local artisan crafts bazaar; experiential photo tours; wellness or yoga mornings for guests.
